Creative Combo Ages 6-10 years

This class is a great way for the young aspiring clay artist to focus more wholeheartedly on the joys of working solely in clay. Using both earthenware and stoneware clay, various functional as well as sculptural projects are explored with a strong emphasis on personal creativity. Students will work on hand-building projects and will learn to use the pottery wheel.
Fun glazing techniques are covered, as well as introductory clay carving and using colored slips to decorate.
NOTE: We will be doing a Creative Combo Class as requested by many of our students.
